A private club is not a conventional construction setting.
The facility serves members and guests, hosts dining and social functions, supports golf operations and must protect a level of service consistent with the Club’s reputation.
Construction activities therefore had to be understood not only in terms of trade productivity, but also in terms of access, appearance, noise, dust, deliveries and their potential effect on Club operations.
Wallworks maintained direct, timely communication with Pancoast & Clifford regarding manpower, planned work areas, material deliveries, access requirements, field conditions and sequencing changes. This gave the construction manager the information needed to coordinate with Overbrook Golf Club, communicate upcoming impacts and make informed decisions about Club activities.
When conditions changed, early notice allowed the team to adjust work fronts and preserve progress without creating unnecessary surprises for Club leadership or members.
Professional jobsite conduct was equally important. Wallworks’ crews understood that they were working in a high-end hospitality environment where housekeeping, respectful interaction and protection of surrounding spaces were part of successful performance. This combination of craftsmanship and communication helped the construction team deliver the work while respecting the setting in which it was performed.
